On June 20, the House approved, by voice vote, H.R. 2484, the Women, Peace, and Security Act, sponsored by Rep. Kristi Noem (R-SD). The House Foreign Affairs Committee approved the measure on May 25; the Senate Foreign Relations Committee approved its version of the bill, S. 1141, the same day (see The Source, 5/26/17).
