Human Trafficking
H.R. 6522—Rep. Ashley Hinson (R-IA)/Judiciary; Homeland Security (11/30/2023)—A bill to require the fingerprinting of noncitizen minors entering the United States who are suspected of being victims of human trafficking, to require the public disclosure of the number of such minors who are fingerprinted and the number of child traffickers who are apprehended, to impose criminal penalties on noncitizen adults who use unrelated minors to gain entry into the United States, and for other purposes.

Bob Casey (D-PA)/Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (11/30/2023)—A resolution recognizing November 2023 as “National Family Caregivers Month.” This resolution recognizes the 53 million Americans who provide unpaid, essential family care each year, many of whom are women, and recommends investments in tax credits, access to quality health care, and paid family and medical leave, among other things.
