On May 21, the House Appropriations Committee approved, 28-21, the FY2015 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies spending bill (H.R. 4745). The Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies Subcommittee approved the bill on May 7 (see The Source, 5/9/14).
According to the committee report, the bill would provide $52 billion in discretionary funds for programs funded within the departments of Transportation and Housing and Urban Development. This amount is $1.2 billion over FY2014 and $7.8 billion below President Obama’s FY2015 request.
