Appropriations—On August 23, the Senate passed, 85-7, H.R. 6157, a “minibus” bill containing the FY2019 Defense, Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education (LHHSE) spending bills.
The Senate Appropriations Committee passed its respective versions of the Defense and LHHSE spending bills on June 28 (The Source, 6/29/18).
The House passed its version of the Defense spending bill on June 28 (The Source, 6/29/18), while the House Appropriations Committee approved its version of the LHHSE spending bill on July 11 (The Source, 7/13/18)
