Senate Reauthorizes Breast Cancer Stamp

On December 9, the Senate approved, by unanimous consent, a bill (S. 2000) to reauthorize the breast cancer stamp for two years through December 31, 2005. Funding for the stamp is set to expire at the end of this year. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) sponsored the measure.

Language to reauthorize the breast cancer stamp was included in the conference report for the FY2004 Consolidated Appropriations Act (H.R. 2673), but a final vote on that bill has been postponed until Congress returns in January.
