On February 2, the Senate passed, by unanimous consent, S. Res. 41. Sponsored by Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), the resolution seeks to increase awareness and prevention of stalking by designating January 2017 as “National Stalking Awareness Month.”
According to the resolution, “15 percent of women in the United States, at some point in their lifetimes, have experienced stalking victimization.”
