On October 26, the Senate passed, by unanimous consent, S. 782, the Providing Resources, Officers, and Technology to Eradicate Cyber Threats (PROTECT) to Our Children Act. The Senate passed an earlier version of the legislation on June 15, which the House amended and passed on October 3 (see The Source, 10/6/17).
The latest vote clears the measure for the president’s signature.
