On November 29, the House passed, by voice vote, S. 2577, the Justice for All Reauthorization Act of 2016, as amended. The Senate agreed to the House amendments and passed the bill, by unanimous consent, on December 1. An earlier version of the bill was passed in the Senate on June 16 (see The Source, 6/17/16).
The bill is now cleared for President Obama’s signature.
