Since 1995, WCPI has worked closely with the bipartisan Congressional Caucus for Women’s Issues (Women’s Caucus) to advance issues of importance to women and their families. In conjunction with the Women’s Caucus leadership, we host congressional briefings and Member meetings on a wide range of issues, including women’s health, international issues, and 21st century workforce development issues, as well as events to strengthen relationships among women Members.
Our Congressional Fellowships on Women and Public Policy expands the pipeline of young women entering public policy careers, while “Joint Session,” our Women Chiefs of Staff program, provides opportunities for networking and professional development among senior women leaders on Capitol Hill.
In a continued effort to keep our subscribers up to date on congressional action, we publish our Weekly Legislative Report, formerly known as The Source on Women’s Issues in Congress. This and other special publications are free and available to the public and offers information about legislative actions affecting women and their families.
