Kellie McManamon is a legislative fellow in the office of Congressman Salud Carbajal (CA-24).
Kellie graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara, with a bachelor’s degree in communications and sociology. She received her master’s in public policy from Georgetown University in May, 2023.
Kellie was a significant contributor to Congressman Carbajal’s office throughout her fellowship. She worked on the Child Care Investment Act, securing a bipartisan co-lead, meeting with stakeholders, and obtaining organizational endorsements. She staffed and drafted questions for the Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure and Committee on Agriculture, and served as the primary staffer for the Pro-Choice Caucus. She submitted over 65 appropriation requests for the HHS, Labor, & Education spending bill and helped co-lead two bills. After her fellowship experience, Kellie will be working at the Office of Management and Budget.
