Women have served in the military throughout our nation’s history. In recent years, women veterans have made up nearly ten percent of all veterans in the United States. That percentage is projected to increase to more than 16 percent by 2043.
For almost 20 years, WCPI has honored the role of women in the military and women veterans by focusing on the specific needs women veterans face during and after deployment at this annual event.
