On July 30, the Senate approved, by unanimous consent, a resolution (S. Res. 205) designating September as Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.
Sponsored by Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), the measure identifies some of the symptoms of ovarian cancer and seeks to increase public awareness of the hard-to-detect disease.
