Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)/Considered and agreed to (11/21/24)–A resolution expressing support for the goals of National Adoption Day and National Adoption Month by promoting national awareness of adoption and the children awaiting families, celebrating children and families involved in adoption, and encouraging the people of the United States to secure safety, permanency, and well-being for all children.

H.R. 10182–Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ)/Ways and Means (11/20/24)–A bill to waive the 10-percent additional tax on early distributions from qualified retirement plans in the case of withdrawals for family caregiving expenses. 

Violence Against Women  

H. Res. 1593–Rep. IIhan Omar (D-MN)/Judiciary (11/21/24)–A resolution expressing support for the designation of December 16, 2024, as the “National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Black Women and Girls.”

Women’s History  

 S. 5393–Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR)/Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs (11/21/24)–A bill to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 125 South 1st Avenue in Hillsboro, Oregon, as the “Elizabeth Furse Post Office Building.”
