Lisa Brenner, PhD, Clinical Research Psychologist, Director, VA Rocky Mountain Mental Illness Research Education and Clinical Center (MIRECC); Professor, School of Medicine, University of Colorado, who will speak about her more than 20 years of experience providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care to women veterans and VA’s national efforts to prevent suicide.
Naomi Mathis, Associate National Legislative Director, DAV, and U.S. Air Force combat veteran, who will share her experiences after three deployments to Iraq and Kuwait, transitioning to civilian life, and the importance of mental health care for women veterans.
Kaitlynne Yancy, Associate Director, Government Affairs, IAVA, and U.S. Navy veteran, who will speak on efforts to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention among the women veterans’ community.
