The House is in recess until September 6, but is scheduled to return to session during August pending Senate action on the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 (as-yet-unnumbered).

Employment- On Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will mark up several bills, including S.4524, a bill to limit the judicial enforceability of predispute nondisclosure and nondisparagement contract clauses relating to disputes involving sexual assault and sexual harassment.
Human Trafficking- On Wednesday, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will mark up several bills, including S. 4611, a bill to improve services for trafficking victims by establishing, in Homeland Security Investigations, the Investigators Maintain Purposeful Awareness to Combat Trafficking Trauma Program and the Victim Assistance Program.
Military- On Wednesday, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee also will consider S. 4377, the Military Spouse Employment Act.
