Floor Action:
The House and Senate are in session this week.
Appropriations- The Senate is scheduled to consider H.R. 5305, a continuing resolution (CR) to fund the government through December 3 and avoid a partial government shutdown.
Budget- This week, the House may consider S. Con. Res 14, the FY2022 Budget Reconciliation package, which includes recommendations relating to universal paid family and medical leave, and child care access and equity.
Employment- This week, the House is scheduled to vote on the Senate amendment to H.R. 3684, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which contains provisions to address women-owned businesses and women in the trucking industry, among other provisions.
The House is scheduled to consider H.R. 3992, the Protect Older Job Applicants Act.
Health- The House is scheduled to consider H.R. 3110, the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections (PUMP) for Nursing Mothers Act.
Human Trafficking- The House also is scheduled to consider, H.R. 1228, the Libya Stabilization Act, which includes provisions to end severe forms of human trafficking in Libya.
Violence Against Women- Also this week, the House may consider a vote on H.R. 2119, the Family Violence Prevention and Services Improvement Act of 2021.

Judiciary- On Wednesday, the House Judiciary Committee will mark up several bills, including H.R. 2116, the Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair (CROWN) Act of 2021.
Hearings:
Abortion- On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing, “Texas’s Unconstitutional Abortion Ban and the Role of the Shadow Docket.”
On Thursday, the House Oversight and Reform Committee will hold a hearing, “A State of Crisis: Examining the Urgent Need to Protect and Expand Abortion Rights and Access.”
Violence Against Women- On Tuesday, the House Financial Services Subcommittee on Diversity and Inclusion will hold a hearing, “Access Denied: Eliminating Barriers and Increasing Economic Opportunity for Justice-Involved Individuals.” The hearing will consider several bills, including the Fair Chance at Housing Act (as-yet-unnumbered), which includes provisions to address housing for victims of domestic violence.
