Hearings:

Employment- On Wednesday, the Joint Economic Committee will hold a hearing, “The Gender Wage Gap: Breaking Through Stalled Progress.”


BILLS INTRODUCED: MAY 31- June 4, 2021

Child Care

H.R. 3667—Rep. Carol Miller (R-WV)/Ways and Means (6/1/21)—A bill to target additional child care funds by allocating to states based on the number of children in poverty, and for other purposes.  

Health 

H.R. 3688 — Rep. Alma Adams (D-NC)/Energy and Commerce (6/4/21)— A bill to address maternal mortality and morbidity. 

 Veterans 

H.R. 3665—Rep. Mike Levin (D-CA)/Veterans’ Affairs (6/1/21)—A bill to designate the medical center of the Department of Veterans Affairs in San Diego, California, as the Jennifer Moreno Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and to support the designation of a component of such medical center in honor of Kathleen Bruyere.
