On May 2, the Senate passed, by unanimous consent, S. Res. 149, a resolution supporting the goals and ideals of World Malaria Day, sponsored by Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS). The resolution notes that children and pregnant women are disproportionately affected by malaria.
