This week, the House was scheduled to consider H.R. 1628, the American Health Care Act. However, the House leadership withdrew the bill from consideration after it became clear the measure did not have enough votes for passage. The Budget, Energy and Commerce, and Ways and Means Committees approved the bill in separate votes earlier this month (see The Source, 3/17/17 and 3/10/17).
