On February 14, the Senate passed, by unanimous consent, H.R. 255, the Promoting Women in Entrepreneurship Act, sponsored by Rep. Elizabeth Esty (D-CT), and H.R. 321, the Inspiring the Next Space Pioneers, Innovators, Researchers, and Explorers (INSPIRE) Women Act, sponsored by Rep. Barbara Comstock (R-VA).
The House approved the bills on January 10 (see The Source, 1/13/17); Senate passage clears the measures for the president’s signature.
