Samaura Stone worked as a legislative fellow in the office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (NY). Originally from Oregon, she received her Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University. Prior to and during graduate school, she held positions with nonprofit organizations, government, and within school districts. Samaura focused mainly on community development and advocating for vulnerable populations. She was a Susan Scanlan Fellow.
