House Committee Examines Ethics of Fetal Tissue Donation

On March 2, the House Energy and Commerce Select Investigative Panel held a hearing, “Bioethics and Fetal Tissue.” The hearing focused on ethical issues relating to the use of fetal tissue for medical research.

• Kathleen M. Schmainda, PhD, professor, Center for Imaging Research, Medical College of Wisconsin.
