Sex Trafficking Bill Approved by Senate

On September 18, the Senate approved, by unanimous consent, the Preventing Sex Trafficking and Strengthening Families Act (H.R. 4980). The House passed the bill on July 23 (see The Source, 7/25/14).

The bill, sponsored by Rep. Dave Camp (R-MI), would strengthen efforts to address the trafficking of children in the foster care system.
